James Madison Legacy Project Expansion

A Project To Empower High-Need Students

Image
James Madison Legacy Project Expansion: Empowering High-Need Students for Informed, Thoughtful, and Productive Citizenship is an exciting project designed to improve instruction of the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution curriculum through professional learning.
How JMLPE was Developed
Working with expert teachers and consultants, the Center for Civic Education developed new resources for We the People educators. These resources encourage instruction that fosters positive civics and social-emotional learning (SEL) outcomes among English learners, students with disabilities, and students of color.
