The Center for Civic Education is currently hiring a Director of IT and Operations, a Finance and HR Manager, and a Coordinator of National Programs and Grants.

Director of IT and Operations Job Summary: Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Operating Financial Officer (COFO), the Director of IT and Operations is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Center for Civic Education. The Director of IT and Operations will work with colleagues across functions to implement and track high-priority operational strategies, goals, and objectives.

Finance and Human Resources Manager Job Summary: Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Operating Financial Officer (COFO), the Finance & HR Manager is responsible for all day-to-day administrative HR tasks of the Center for Civic Education. The Finance & HR Manager will work with colleagues across all functions of the organization with specific work in the area of Human Resources and Finance.

Coordinator of National Programs and Grants Job Summary: The Coordinator of National Programs and Grants will engage with the Center’s dynamic staff and networks to coordinate civic education programs. Working closely with the Director of National and International Programs and the Center’s Programs team, the coordinator will administer programs that involve civic education leaders, educators, and learners across the country, including but not limited to We the People and Project Citizen. The coordinator will manage grant-funded civic education projects, including projects funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The coordinator’s work will include  tracking and advancing program objectives; managing grant subrecipient communication and reporting; organizing and supporting national meetings and events; documenting and communicating program results and successes; engaging a variety of stakeholders with diverse perspectives and experiences; developing and facilitating programming on an as-needed basis; and fostering new ideas and initiatives to accomplish the Center’s vision.
