I do hereby give the Center for Civic Education (“the Center”) and its assigns, licensees,
successors, and designees the right to film, video, and photograph
(“Footage”), as those terms are customarily understood, in connection with a
photograph/film/video project (“Project”) described as follows: footage and photographs
from the 2021 We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution National Finals that
may be used in the educational and promotional materials of the Center.
I hereby grant to the Center and its assignees, licensees, designees, and successors all title
and interest in and to the Footage and the irrevocable right to use, edit, exhibit and
distribute without limitation the Footage as edited and incorporated into the Project
throughout the world, in all forms and in any and all media, including the internet,
whether now known or hereafter discovered, and in perpetuity. I also hereby affirm that I
will have no right whatsoever to inspect or approve any and all versions of the Project,
including without limitation the final version of the Project, and I also affirm that nothing
contained herein shall be construed to mean that the Center is under any obligation
whatsoever to actually include footage of me in any version of the Project, including
without limitation the final version of the Project.
I hereby release the Center and its assignees, licensees, designees, successors, officers,
employees and agents, and all other persons/entities involved in the production,
exhibition, distribution, sponsorship, or other exploitation of the Project, from any and all
claims and causes of action for any violation of any personal and proprietary right I may
have in connection with the exhibition, distribution or other use of the Project, including
without limitation any claims or causes of action with respect to invasion of privacy,
trespass, right to publicity, and defamation.
I acknowledge that I agree to the foregoing without receipt, demand, expectation or legal
right to any compensation.
